Study Title: Real and Imagined Networks: Collaboration Across Sectors. A Case Study of Disaster Management Networks in the State of Texas
How to Participate
This page describes how to participate in an online research study.
Step 1: Take the Disaster Management Networks Burnout Survey
Whether or not you work in Texas, this is an opportunity to share your perspective! We want to understand how burnout influences collaborative capacity. Use this link to access the 5 to 10 minute survey. You are eligible to participate if you are 18 years of age or older and work or volunteer for an organization that works in disaster management (or have within the last year). Your answers will be kept private and participation is voluntary. You will not receive compensation for participation in this survey.
Step 2: Complete the Network Survey
If you are 18 years of age or older and work or volunteer for an agency that works in disaster management within the State of Texas, you are invited to take a Network Survey (20-30 minutes) that collects basic information about you, your organization, and collaborators. After completing the survey, you may be invited to participate in a 90-minute, semi-structured interview to discuss how your organization collaborates with other agencies. Participants who complete an interview will be given a $25 Amazon gift card as a token of appreciation for their time.
